It is with much confidence that I recommend Kristina Premo to you for consideration as an addition to your missions program. We have been blessed to know Kristina since 2010 at which time she joined our home church, the Cleveland Baptist Church. She came to Cleve land upon completing her college degree program to teach English in our Christian school. As three of our children attended this school at various times on three furloughs, Kristina has had tremendous influence on them through her excellent Christian service. Kristina has sensed the Lord directing herto use her English and video production skills for His work in the Ivory Coast of West Africa. She has spoken with us extensively concerning this decision and has sought our advice on several occasions. Afterten years’ experience teaching English at our home church’s Christian school, she came to the Ivory Coast on a survey trip to see the potential for this ministry and to prepare for deputation. While in the Ivory Coast, Kristina met with the Dean of the English program at the University of Cocody, Abidjan, where he invited her to participate in specific English program activities. He was thrilled to learn of Kristina’s desire to come to the Ivory Coast and assured her of ministry opportunities on the campus. Kristina taught English in nearby private schools and tutored students studying for exams. The opportunities that this ministry provides are innumerable.
In the 26 years that my family has ministered in the Ivory Coast, the people of the Ivory Coast have requested this ministry more than any other. Our City Hall, our City Council, and our city educational director have all requested that we open an English training school. College students, high school students, and other educational employees, professors, and teachers have asked us to do the same as well. It is now that the Lord is answering this prayer. Kristina’s ministry will entail opening a school to teach English to interested individuals. This will be a ministry of our local church in Bingerville. This school will attract hundreds of college and high school students who recognize that success in this world requires use of the English language. Kristina will also be able to enter the University Campus and other schools to establish English clubs. In all of these contexts, Kristina will have the opportunity to evangelize the lost. Homework assignments, tests, and personal conversations will all center around Gospel passages from the Scriptures. Hundreds will come to Christ and be added to our church.
Dear Friend,
I am honored to be asked to write a letter of recommendation for Kristina Premo, sent out of the Cleveland Baptist Church as a missionary to the Ivory Coast of West Africa. Kristina moved here after graduating from West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California. Kristina has served faithfully at Heritage Christian School as an English teacher in our Jr. High and High School for more than a decade. In addition, Kristina has served as bus captain, Sunday school teacher, and in our music ministry during this time.
Due to Kristina’s education and experience, doors are opening wide for her in the Ivory Coast. She plans to use her proficiency in English to educate the Ivoirians, but more importantly, to give them the Gospel. She will be working with Cleveland Baptist Church veteran missionaries, Bob and Becky Mach. Kristina has prayed about this decision, has taken a survey trip, and believes firmly that this is God’s calling on her life. We are sad to see her go, but anxious to partner with her in this endeavor.
Would you consider supporting her financially? I am fully persuaded that this will be a great investment of your missionary dollars as I have personally observed Kristina to be faithfully dedicated to the Lord and His Word these years she has served here in this ministry. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Pastor Peter Folger
Cleveland Baptist Church
Dear Pastor,
Pastor
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Miss Kristina Premo. It was my privilege to interview and hire Kristina several years ago when we needed an English teacher for Heritage Christian School, a ministry of Cleveland Baptist Church. She was a great hire and an excellent addition to the ministry of both the church and school.
Kristina is a West Coast Baptist College graduate, and she completed her master’s degree at Pensacola Christian College. These accomplishments speak of her work ethic. Her ability to teach and inspire students has been an incredible blessing to our ministry. Her integrity and Christianity have been displayed consistently as a staff member. Her conduct, both inside and outside the classroom, has been exemplary.
It did not surprise me when she shared her desire to pursue ministry working in the realm of missions. God seems to always deal in the hearts of those who are actively serving where they are. Kristina has shown her heart by being active in soul-winning, discipleship, and working a bus route at Cleveland Baptist Church. She sings in the choir and provides special music for the church services. These are things that weren’t required, but she did in addition to being a very engaged Christian school teacher.
Without hesitation, I can highly recommend that you consider Miss Kristina Premo for support as a missionary to the Ivory Coast of Africa. She will inspire the young women in your church. One other thing, Kristina will be working with veteran missionaries, Bob and Becky Mach. The Machs are also sent out of Cleveland Baptist Church and supported through BIMI.
For the Lord’s Great Cause,
Kevin Folger
